ORGANISATION

MEC Foundation was established following the passing of the great intellect, scholar and spiritual leader, Professor Dr. Mahmud Es’ad Cosan in Australia. Since 2006, with the help of volunteers, MEC Foundation has been arranging and continuing its Qurban organisation.

With the Qurban Organisations, we aim to spread the knowledge and awareness that Qurban is a form of worship that is done in order to gain the pleasure of Allah. Additionally, by accepting the Qurban proxies of all our Muslim brothers and sisters from around the world, we distribute the Qurbans to those in real need from the first hand, with no intermediaries. With our international Qurban organization, we aim to produce a work discipline that is a rightful model for others.

In the slaughtering, packaging, storage and distribution activities, the following of Islamic guidelines and hygiene rules are our priorities. It is ensured that the meats are prepared in packages of 2-3 kilograms, are stored, moved and transported safely in a cold environment and without an intermediary, are distributed from the first hand.

The Wakalah’s (proxies) are distributed to those in real need through displaying kindness and respect with the words ”A gift from all the Muslims of the world!”.

With the Qurban Organisation that began in 2006, Qurban meats have been distributed to 821,379 families of Indonesia’s Java, Sumatra, Lombok and Sumbawa regions.

All these services are conducted solely to gain the pleasure of our Lord. We strive to increase goodness on earth, by spreading it from one hand to another, for a better humanity. Through Qurban, each year we continue to reach the hearts of hundreds of thousands.
